Synopsis

Grif believes he’ll live his life as a virgin. After all, who would want him? How could anyone find him, a guy who came with less than man-sized equipment, worthy of their love?

What he hadn’t counted on were the two amazing men who would change his life. After entering college, he meets Tate, his fun-loving roommate. While years later, with Tate now just a memory, Wes, a handsome, rugged ex-marine who runs his own security firm enters his life.

Both men lead Grif through a twisted mesh of pleasure, pain, and denial, as they force him to see his value, despite his size and insecurities.

Review

I have to say this story was deeply emotional. I didn’t expect that and found it to be a wonderful surprise.

Grif’s Toy is told in Grif's POV throughout. Every single person we meet in this story is not only significant but also fascinating. From Grif and Wes  to Lance the cabin assistant. All of them play a large part in showing us WHO Grif is and the type of person he will always be.

I have to say, the most emotional part of this book, the part that brought me to tears was Tate. I’ll say no more on the why, but I ached. Tate is vitally important in Grif’s life more so than anyone else written. It’s because of Tate that Grif learns to love and accept and trust. Tate was the reason I myself had to close my kindle, shed my tears, and take a few deep breaths before I continued.

What I found amazing and beautiful about Grif and Wes’s relationship was their love. Whether in chocolate or in vanilla they loved deeply. They accepted each other’s kink and gave each other so much more than their hearts.

We love who we love and we love what we love. It’s rare we find that missing piece of ourselves in the shape of a soulmate and to see Grif and Wes find it was exciting and left me feeling utterly content.

This is a stunning love story and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this!
