From animosity to searing passion in a lunar cycle… but can their bond survive?

Wolf shifter Nathan Kohl’s pack is his whole life. Arrogant and handsome, he avoids commitment to anything or anyone outside of his pack. He works hard, plays hard, and pursues humans as lovers because there’s little to no chance of him forming a permanent bond. However, when Jared Taylor comes into Nathan’s life, every rule is broken.

After a bad experience, Jared vowed to never get involved with another shifter, no matter how much they got under his skin. Despite being physically attracted to Nathan, who’s all kinds of hot, Jared only sees an arrogant, domineering bastard.

A disastrous case of mistaken identity throws Nathan and Jared together until the next full moon. Forced to spend the next twenty-eight days in close proximity, they can no longer ignore the powerful attraction between them. Passion ignites, and their relationship takes a turn neither of them wanted.

But when the full moon comes, everything might change again.

Jamie Matthews goes to Cornwall to find his missing brother. The police are convinced Michael drowned, but Jamie knows better. No way would Michael swim to his death, especially on a beach with a wicked rip tide. Finding a stranger in his brother’s cottage only deepens his misgivings.

Felix Bergstrom is recently discharged from the British Army. Unable to put the past behind him, he takes an unhealthy interest in old acquaintance and millionaire businessman Karl Weston, hoping to catch him up to no good. Michael’s disappearance adds fuel to Felix’s suspicions. Weston’s clifftop home overlooks the beach where Michael supposedly walked into the sea, but Weston has an alibi for that day.

When Jamie and Felix meet, the physical attraction is instant. Mistrust keeps them from acting on it until finally all their secrets are laid bare. But time isn’t on their side. Before they’re able to work out whether they have a future, danger catches up with them and threatens to put an end to everything.

Twenty years ago the UK’s water supply was contaminated with an experimental pathogen, Lycanaeris, causing widespread panic across the nation. Terrorism was suspected but never proven, and when nothing happened--no epidemic, no unexplained illnesses--the whole episode was written off as an elaborate hoax. But Lycanaeris was selective. Only those of a certain age, and with a specific gene in their DNA were infected. Time would reveal the pathogen’s true nature, when those susceptible grew up Altered.

Daniel is one of thousands forced to hide his altered status by living a quiet life. He’s not like the others, though. Daniel can’t help looking so distinctive or being able to see every altered for what they really are. To those abducting altereds, that skill makes him valuable.

For Jordan, shifting from human to wolf means living under the radar to avoid unwanted attention. Meeting Daniel complicates matters. Daniel’s existence is a threat to Jordan and his friends, but Jordan can’t seem to shake the strange connection between them. When danger threatens, there’s little time for Daniel and Jordan to work out their feelings before lives are at stake.

Interview

Thank you, Annabelle, for being here to talk with me today. It’s a great treat having you. Your latest book Bitten by Mistake was thrilling and I loved it. I have a few questions I’d like to ask you to get to know you and your mind a little better. So, here it goes.

You gravitate toward fantasy and paranormal in both writing and reading. Why and what do you love most about it?

I also read a lot crime and mystery books, but I love the escape that fantasy and paranormal stories provide. Sometimes I just want to forget about real life for a while and reading about a world someone else has created does that for me. I think the possibilities are endless for those types of books, and I love the innovative plot lines and characters that authors create.

That goes the same for writing. Fantasy and Paranormal gives me so much more scope to let my imagination run wild, and I absolutely love giving it free rein.

Who were/are some writers who have inspired your writing?

I read a lot when I was younger, and still do. Two of my fav authors are Patricia Cornwell and Anne Rice, but I think the writers who've most inspired my writing are the ones I've met since I started being published. I've had a lot of help and constructive feedback from some wonderful authors, I would name them but I'm bound to miss someone out and I'd hate to do that. But the friends I've made in the mm community have given me invaluable advice on all sorts of things: what works, what doesn’t, how to catch readers' attention from the first chapter and how to end a story. My editor is also wonderful and has helped me enormously, I've learnt a lot from her over the past year or so.

If you could turn one of your books into a movie and one into a TV show what two books would you choose?

Ohh, um… let me think. That's a tough question. I think either Chasing Shadows or Bitten By Mistake might make a good film, and I'd choose The Altered Series for a television show.

Do you have a favorite way to celebrate a book launch?

With Prosecco.
If I can, I try and meet my bestie and writing buddy Jay Northcote for lunch. It's nice to chat with someone who knows how exciting/nerve-wracking release day is. But at night I always have a glass (or three) of Prosecco.

Can you tell us what you are currently working on?

I've just finished a ghost/contemp romance which will be out in early October. It's another 80K novel and I can't wait for it to come out. The ghost isn't one of the main characters, but plays a big part in the story. And that's all I can say at this point, but hope to have the blurb and cover available in the next few weeks. After that I'll be working on my Christmas Story and then a sequel to BBM (which I am very excited about.)

What is your most favorite thing about writing?

Hmm… sometimes I love getting my ideas down on paper and the story flows like a dream, and others it's like pulling teeth. But when you see that someone enjoyed reading your story, something you've put your heart and soul into, it is the best feeling. We all have different tastes and not everyone is going to like what I write, but those who connect with my words and get my stories make it all worth it.

Maybe my favourite thing about writing is all the new friends I've made since I started; both readers and writers.

How can your readers follow your career: Twitter, Facebook, Website etc…?
